This module empowers organizations to efficiently handle advertising media, products, contracts, insertion orders, and settings, all within a unified platform. The landing page for the Advertising module is Advertising Central.Advertising MediaAdvertising media allows users to define and manage various advertising formats and placements. This includes specifying dimensions, formats, and associated pricing structures. From the Manage Media page, you can add a new advertising media or select the hyperlinked Media Code in the grid to open the advertising media detail page, where you can modify the advertising media information that was entered at setup and view media rate cards.Advertising ProductsYou can now view and modify advertising products that can be sold to advertisers. The Advertising Information section of the Product Summary displays advertising specific information selected during product setup. To modify these values, select Edit Advertising Information or open the Advertising Information page from the Advertising tab.AdvertisersYou can now designate constituents as advertisers or ad agencies, linking them to relevant contracts and media. Once a constituent is marked as an advertiser or ad agency, you can view and modify Advertiser Information or Agency Information from the constituent profile. The Advertiser Search and Detail pages for an advertiser allow you to view and modify advertiser details. From the detail page, you can view and edit the advertiser's directory information, as well as view the advertiser's contract history.Advertising ContractsYou can now create and manage advertising contracts in the web client. Advertising contracts allow an organization to give advertisers rates based on the advertiser committing to purchase a certain number of advertisements within a certain time period. The Contract Detail page for a contract allows you to view and modify contract details, as well as view and add Included Media.Insertion OrdersIn the advertising business, orders placed by advertisers are referred to as “insertion orders.” You can now create and manage insertion orders from the web client. You also now have the ability to add surcharges and maintain insertion order line item details.Advertising Settings & SetupThe first thing that needs to be done when implementing the Advertising subsystem is to set up your organization unit’s settings related to Advertising. Organization unit settings consists of two parts: Advertising Parameters and Advertising Product Types. The new Advertising Settings page also allows you to set up and define the codes for ad Types and Sizes.Additional Features You can now add duplicate customer matching rules from the Duplicate Setup page. You can now add a staff assignment from the Contact Tracking Staff Assignments page. Updates were made to the spacing and line breaks on the Order Summary page to improve readability and ease of use. The Products & Services page was moved to the Profile Info tab and Advertising-specific fields were added. You can now quickly create a constituent at the same address as another constituent. You can now configure the interface parameters for PayPal, CyberSource, and Braintree from the web client. You can now quickly open the Dues Basis Schedule from the grid on the membership Rates and Pricing page. Global Search options now always display in the search drop-down, even after selection. You can now select to "Show More" on the Opportunity Owner tasks page. You can now select a Fund when creating an Opportunity Plan Assignment.
