Managing Committee and Subgroup Segmentation Paige Freeman May 03, 2023 17:06 Updated To set up a committee as a segment: From the Profile Info tab on the Committee Summary or Subgroup Summary, select Segmentation.The Segmentation screen displays, as shown below. Click +Web Segment.The following fields display: Segment Rule Code: defaults to either "Committee Segment " or "Subgroup Segment ". Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 default to the master customer ID and sub customer ID, respectively, for the committee or subgroup. Description: defaults to either "Committee Segment Rule – Committee name" for committees (e.g., Committee Segment Rule - Membership Committee), or "Employee Segment Rule – Company name" for companies (e.g., Employee Segment Rule- American Professional Association). Click Save. Screen Element Description Segment Rule Code Defaults to "Committee Segment" or "Subgroup Segment" Qualifier 1 Defaults to the master customer ID. Organization-Unit Segmentation The Organization-Unit Segmentation section is used to add the customer to an organization unit segment. To add org-unit segment membership: From the the Organization-Unit Segmentation section, click +New Org-Unit Segmentation.The Add New Organization-Unit Segmentation screen displays. Search for and select the appropriate Organization. Search for and select the appropriate Organization-Unit. Click Save.
