Viewing and Editing Subgroup Information Paige Freeman May 03, 2023 17:55 Updated From the Subgroup Summary screen, click the Profile Info tab and select Subgroup Information from the drop-down to open the Subgroup Information screen, as shown below. To edit Subgroup Profile Information: From the Subgroup Information screen, click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen. The fields on the Subgroup Information screen become available to edit, as shown below. Edit the Subgroup Name, if necessary. Edit the Prefix, if necessary. Edit the Include in Print Directory and Include in Web/Mobile Directory options, if necessary. If the new subgroup's information should NOT be published in any base directory reports, whether printed or published on the Web (e.g., XBT1202), do not select these options. Once you have made your necessary edits, click Save to apply your changes and return to the Subgroup Information read-only view. Aliases The Alias section of the Subgroup Information screen allows you define search name aliases. To retrieve the record using an acronym, you need to add it as an alias for the subgroup. To add a new alias, click the New Alias link. The Add New Alias screen displays, as shown below. Enter the Search Name and Alias Code, then click Save to add the alias and return to the Subgroup Information screen. Linked Membership Products A subgroup can be linked to multiple membership products. The Linked Membership Products section displays all the membership products linked to the subgroup you are working with. To add linked membership products to a subgroup: From the Linked Membership Products section of the Subgroup Information screen, select New Linked Product. The Link Products to Subgroup search screen displays, as shown below. Using the available search fields, enter your search criteria for the membership product you would like to link to the subgroup, then select Find Product. From the search results, click the Add button next to the corresponding product(s) you wish to link to the subgroup. Once you have added the product(s), click the Link Products button to link the products to the subgroup. If the product you selected is already linked to another subgroup, a message will display that the selected product cannot be added to more than one subgroup. You can select to associate the product anyway. Once you have made your selection, click Save.
