Viewing the Committee Summary Paige Freeman March 12, 2026 13:40 Updated Upon opening a committee record, you are brought to the Committee Summary screen for the committee, as shown below. From this screen, you can view primary contact information, committee class, committee status, and total members, as well as a listing of Past, Current, and Future committee members.You must belong to a security group with at least VIEW permission to the Committee.Summary application in order to view this screen. For more information, please see Committees Security.HeaderFrom the header (shown below), you can navigate to different information by clicking the available hyperlinks. Clicking the All Committee Addresses link will open the Committee Addresses screen. Clicking the pencil icon next to the hyperlinked primary contact name will open the Edit Primary Contact screen. Clicking the committee email address link will open a new email in your default email client. Clicking the committee web social media link will open the associated social media page. Clicking the Committee Contact Info link will open the Committee Contact Information screen. Screen Element Description Committee Image Displays the profile photo for the committee. Committee Name Displays the label name for the committee. Committee ID Displays the identification number for the committee. Committee Status Displays the status for the committee. Committee Class Displays the class for the committee. Total Members Displays the total number of current members. Committee Address Displays a concatenation of the address type code, formatted detail, and formatted address for the primary address of the committee. Primary Contact Displays "Primary Contact:" and the first name, last name of the constituent defined as the primary contact. For more information, please see Editing Committee Primary Contact. Additionally, the formatted primary contact information for the committee displays. Only the primary contact information types of phone number, mobile phone number, email address, and web/social media address are displayed. Committee MembersThe members grid at the bottom of the Committee Summary screen (shown below) displays all past, current, and future members of the committee. Upon first arriving at the Committee Summary screen, the Current filter option will be selected by default. You can click the options for Past and Future to see other members related to the committee.From this grid, you can also add a new member by clicking the New Committee Member link. For more information, please see Adding a New Committee Member.You can also navigate to the Find a Member page by selecting Find Members. The Find a Member page allows you to search and filter the list of committee members.Clicking the hyperlinked committee member name will open the Committee Member Details screen. From this screen, you can also edit the details of the committee membership. For more information, please see Editing Committee Member Details. You can also edit the member details directly from this screen by clicking the pencil icon within the member grid.Clicking the additional options menu within the members grid opens a menu with the option to email a member, delete a member, or view the member in the CRM module. Choosing Email Member will open an email message to the member's primary email address in your default email client. Choosing Delete Member will delete the member from the committee. The member will no longer display in the Past, Current, or Future membership grid. Choosing View in Constituents will open the constituent to the Constituent Summary in the CRM module in a new tab in your browser. Select the checkboxes next to the members in the grid then select Email Members from the Work with Selected drop-down to open an email message to the members' primary email addresses in your default email client.If the number of selected committees exceeds the max email recipient character amount of 2,000 characters, the following message will display and the email addresses will be copied to your clipboard instead of opening in your default email client. Screen Element Description Committee Member Displays the last name, first name of the committee member. Position Displays the member's position within the committee. Representing Displays the primary employment relationship, if any exists. Begin Date Displays the begin date for the committee member term. End Date Displays the end date for the committee member term, if any exists. Participation Status Displays the member's participation status within the committee.
