Defining Booth Inventory

Booth inventory for an exhibit product can only be defined after XBT Booth Rental subproduct(s) have been defined. For more information, please see Creating Other Exhibit Product Types.

The Enforce Inventory toggle on the Exhibit Info page must be set to YES in order for the Booth Inventory option to display on the Logistics tab for the exhibit product.

Before a booth product for an inventoried show may be ordered, inventory must be created. Before creating the booth inventory, the booth product(s) must exist.

You can also replicate booths from the Booth Inventory page.

To enter booth inventory:

1. From the Exhibit Summary, select Booth Inventory from the Logistics tab.
   The Booth Inventory page displays, as shown below.
   
2. Select +New Booth.
   The Add Booth page displays, as shown below.
   
3. Select the Location.
4. Search for and select the appropriate Booth Product.

5. Select the Booth Type from the drop-down.
   Values in the drop-down are populated based on the non-fixed codes defined for the XBT "BOOTH_TYPE" system type.
6. Enter the Booth Number.
   The maximum length is 6 characters. This number must be unique within the Product ID and Location.
7. Enter the Length and Width of the booth.
   Square units of the booth are calculated by length x width.
8. If applicable, enter the Adjustment.
   This is an optional property to accommodate obstructions in the space. The adjustment amount is subtracted from the number of square units. The adjustment amount is in square units.
9. Select Save.

Replicating a Booth

The booth replication feature provides a means for mass-creation of booth records. The same rules for creating a single booth record apply to automatically creating a set of booth records. Each booth will have the same attributes as the source booth record, except for the booth number.

1. From the Booth Inventory page, select Replicate Booth from the contextual menu in the grid next to the corresponding booth you wish to replicate.
   
2. The Copy this Booth page displays, as shown below.
   
3. Enter the From Booth Number.
   Enter the starting booth number in the series of booths to be created.
4. Enter the Interval.
   The interval at which to replicate the booths. For example, if you enter "2", the booth numbers will be in intervals of 2 (i.e., 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.)
5. Enter the To Booth Number. 
   Enter the ending booth number in the series of booths to be created.

6. Enter the Booth Prefix.
   The prefix of the booth name. The Booth Product will be replicated for booths with this prefix.

7. Enter the Booth Suffix.
   The suffix of the booth name. The Booth Product will be replicated for booths with this suffix.

8. Select Replicate.
   Once selected, the Booth Product will be replicated for the booths matching the values entered in the To Booth Numbers section.
