Credit Card Expired Base Email Notification Template Paige Freeman July 26, 2024 13:27 Updated The Credit Card Expired base email notification template is used when a customer's credit card has expired. An email is sent to the customer letting them know their credit card has expired. This email includes the last 4 digits of the expired credit card and the expiration date. This notification is for any credit card saved to the customer's profile, not just cards tied to payments. Data Collection: CustomerInfo.CustomerCreditCardProfiles Base Frequency: The first of every month Personify recommends using a Frequency of Monthly, Day 1 of every 1 month(s). Your organization can opt to notify more frequently; however, you need to be aware that a user who is pinged multiple times, but has not had a chance to make the requested update, may become frustrated. The "CCExpirationDate GreaterThan Current Run Date Minus 1 Month(s)" filter looks for credit cards that have expired in the past 1 month, so if you set the frequency to run more often, this could cause the cardholder to receive multiple notifications until the expiration date is set to the future, the credit card is removed from the customer's profile, or enough time passes and the expiration date is more than a month in the past. Base Filters Filter Description Allow System Notifications EqualTo Y This filter appears on all base notification event templates and prevents emails from sending to customers that do not allow system notifications. The Allow System Notifications toggle is located on the Contact Information page within a customer record. CCExpirationDate GreaterThan Current Run Date Minus 1 Month(s) This will generate the email if the credit card expiration date is greater than one month before the current run date. This filter looks for credit cards that have expired in the past 1 month. CCExpirationDate LessThan Current Run Date This will generate the email if the credit card expiration date is less than the current date. CustomerStatusCode EqualTo ACTIVE This filter appears on all base notification event templates and prevents emails from sending to customers that are in a status other than Active, such as Deceased, Duplicate, or Inactive. The Constituent Status is located on the Demographics page within a customer record. Base Email Body Dear {{CustomerInfo.LabelName}} , Your credit card with reference number {{PartialCCAccountNumber}} expired on {{CCExpirationDate}} . Kindly renew your card for uninterrupted services.
