Notification Designer Overview

Notification Designer is a highly customizable and easy-to-use email configuration and delivery system designed to give admins the capability to define and implement notification events. Notification Designer allows admins to easily define event triggers and customize email content. Notification Designer can be accessed from the Web Admin Dashboard.

Notification Designer notifications are only applicable to system events, such as order created, address updated, etc., and are not applicable to contact tracking emails or any email communication between a member and a customer service representative. Notifications sent from Notification Designer are also not applicable to any promotional or targeted marketing emails.

Notification Designer is available for clients utilizing ThreeSixty Web Client and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You can access the following from Notification Designer:

  • Design Notification Events
    Seamlessly define notification triggers based on system events, design polished email notifications and modify existing notifications.

  • Manage Notification Events
    Monitor created notification events from intuitive dashboard and quickly manage status and mode fields.

  • Design Headers and Footers
    Design header or footer templates for use in email notifications, and easily modify existing templates. 

  • Manage Global Settings
    Configure default values for various fields to be used automatically when creating a notification event from scratch (or when a field in a notification template is blank).

What is a Notification?

A notification is the act of telling someone about something that has happened or going to happen. The notification message may be a piece of information or an action item. Common notification channels include Email, SMS Text, or Push notifications. Notification Designer focuses on email notifications.

Notification examples could include:

  • Thank you for your generous donation!
  • Thank you for registering in our Annual meeting!
  • Your annual membership was renewed for 2023!
