Managing Committee and Subgroup Relationships Paige Freeman May 03, 2023 18:17 Updated The Relationships screen allows you to view and edit all committee and subgroup relationships. To access the Relationships screen, from the Committee Summary or Subgroup Summary, select Relationships from the Relationships tab. From this screen, you can create a new relationship, click the pencil icon to edit an existing relationship, and/or click the additional options menu to Delete an existing relationship. Creating a New Relationship To create a new relationships: From the Relationships screen, click the New Relationship link in the top right corner of the screen.The Add New Relationship screen displays, as shown below: Select the Relationship Type from the drop-down. Select the subgroup's Role in the relationship from the drop-down. By default, the Begin Date is set to today. If necessary, change this date. To search for an existing constituent as the related constituent, click the Advanced button in the Related Constituent field and search for the appropriate related constituent.Alternatively, begin entering at least three characters and click the Search link to display available options. Select the related constituent's Related As role from the drop-down. If necessary, select an End Date. If necessary, enter any Comments. Certain types of relationships will require additional information: For "Contact" relationships: Select whether or not the constituent is the Primary Contact. If necessary, select a Job Function from the drop-down. For "Employment" relationships: Select whether or not the constituent is the Primary Employer. Select whether or not the employment is Full Time. If necessary, select a Job Function from the drop-down. If necessary, enter the name of the Supervisor. Click Save.
