Setting the GL Close Date

The GL Close Date page allows you to specify the last date on which the GL was closed. This prevents users from creating batches or financials on or before this date.

To set the GL Close Date:

1. From the Organizations page, select Set GL Close Date from the contextual  to the right of the organization, as shown below.               
   
2. The Set GL Close Date screen displays, as shown below.
   
3. Enter the GL Close Date or select the calendar icon to select the GL Close Date.
4. Select Save.
