Viewing and Updating a Constituent's Speaking Engagements Paige Freeman May 16, 2023 15:48 Updated From the Speaking Engagements screen, you can view the constituent's speaking engagements over a specified span of time. In the Appearances section, for any information to be displayed, the constituent must be defined as a speaker associated with a meeting or session, which is stored in the Product_Related_Customer table. Records in that table are identified as speaker appearances by the CUSRELATION_CODE. If the CUSRELATION_CODE is a code that has been defined in App_Code with App_Code.OPTION_1 = 'CUS001I-APPEARANCE', the system selects it as a speaker record. The Outside Appearance section of the screen allows you to add constituent speaking engagements that occurred outside of the organization. Since they are outside appearances, they are not tracked in the system. This speaker appearance data is recorded in the Spk_Appearance table. You must belong to a security group with at least VIEW permission to the CRM360.SpeakingEngagements application in order to view this screen. For more information, please see Constituents Security. To view a constituent's speaking engagement, select Speaking Engagements from the Involvement tab. From this screen, you can add a new speaking engagement, click the pencil icon to edit an existing speaking engagement, and/or click the additional options menu and select Delete to remove an existing speaking engagement. Adding a New Speaking Engagement To add a new speaking engagement: From the Speaking Engagement screen, click the New Appearance link in the upper right corner of the screen. The Add Outside Appearance screen displays, as shown below. Select the Appearance Date. Enter the Group Event name. Enter the Location. If necessary, enter the Speaker Title. If necessary, enter any Comments. Click Save.
