If you are a "super user", all permission settings will be ignored and you will have access to all modules/applications. At the highest level, by default, the CRM360.Module application will NOT have the Override Security checkbox checked and, therefore, will only be accessible to security groups in which you specifically assign DELETE, INSERT, UPDATE, and VIEW privileges. In the example screenshot above, users who belong to the Abstracts Manager security group will NOT have access to the CRM module, but users who belong to the Accounting Manager security group WILL. Additionally, all other CRM applications (e.g., CRM360.CustomerAlias, CRM360.CustomerCertifications, etc.) WILL have the Override Security checkbox checked and, therefore, inherit permissions from the CRM360.Module security setup. If you want to restrict access to a specific CRM application, you must UNcheck the Override Security checkbox and manually assign DELETE, INSERT, UPDATE, and/or VIEW privileges to desired security groups.. In the example screenshot above, you can see that the Override Security checkbox is checked and the Assigned Security Groups section is disabled. To assign security permissions to the CRM module: Log in to ThreeSixty Operations as a user with permissions to edit security permissions. From the Security menu, select User and Group Setup > Application Security Setup.The Application Security Setup search screen displays. Select "Web Page" from the Application Type drop-down search field. In the Application field, enter "CRM360.". Click Search.All of the CRM module applications display, as shown below. Double-click the CRM360.Module application.The Application Security Setup screen displays, as shown below. By default, the Override Security checkbox is NOT checked for the CRM360.Module application. To grant access to the CRM module to ALL users, check the Override Security checkbox. Otherwise, you can assign permissions per security group (see next step). To grant access to the CRM module to a specific security group: Ensure that the Override Security checkbox is NOT checked. From the Assigned Security Groups section, navigate to the appropriate org unit and click the + sign next to the security group to which you want to grant access to the CRM module. Double-click each permission level to grant access. A green checkmark will display to the right of the permission level when assigned.In the example screenshot below, all users who belong to the Accounting Receipt Entry security group will have VIEW access ONLY to the CRM module.If a user does NOT have at least VIEW access to the CRM360.Module application, when he/she tries to access the Constituent dashboard, he/she will automatically be logged out and taken to the login screen. If necessary, he/she can click the Back button in the browser to return to the previous page. Click Save. Click the binoculars icon in the top, right corner to return to the search screen. Double-click any of the other CRM module applications to grant permissions. By default, the Override Security checkbox IS checked for all other CRM module applications and, therefore, is accessible to everyone. To restrict access based on security group: Uncheck the Override Security checkbox. From the Assigned Security Groups section, navigate to the appropriate org unit and click the + sign next to the security group to which you want to grant access to a specific CRM module application. Double-click each permission level to grant access. A green checkmark will display to the right of the permission level when assigned.In the example screenshot below, all users who belong to all security groups EXCEPT the Abstracts Manager security group will have DELETE, INSERT, UPDATE, and ADD access to the CRM360.CustomerAlias module application. Click Save. Repeat steps 10-14 for each CRM module application, as necessary.
