Managing Opportunity Owners Paige Freeman April 22, 2025 13:57 Updated The opportunity owner is the person responsible for managing a prospect through the various tasks and stages of an opportunity plan, bringing that prospect closer to their organization and forming a relationship. You can manage and add constituents as opportunity owners from the Manage Owners page. To access the Manage Owners page: From Opportunity Central or the left navigation, select Manage Owners. The Manage Owners page displays. You can use the filters at the top of the page to search for and locate your desired opportunity owner. You can edit an owner by selecting the edit pencil in the grid, or delete an owner by selecting Delete from the contextual menu in the grid. Select the hyperlinked Owner Name to view and manage the owner's tasks. Adding a New Opportunity Owner To add a new opportunity owner: From the Manage Owners page, select +New Owner.The Add Owner page displays. Search for and select the constituent to be designated as an Owner. The Phone Number and Primary Email fields populate with the selected constituent's information. Select the Begin Date and End Date as necessary. Select whether this owner should be designated as a Fundraising Solicitor. Enter any Comments as necessary. Select Save to save your changes and return to the Manage Owners page.
