Assigning a Booth Paige Freeman December 12, 2024 13:51 Updated After an XBT "Exhibition" product and the XBT "Booth Rental" subproduct have been added to an order, the specific booth must be assigned. The specific assignment process will vary according to your organization's business rules. Most associations work on a first come, first serve policy, so exhibitors that want the best space will get their contracts in early. However, booth assignment is also based on priority points. Associations award points for things like each year an exhibitor attends the show and the size of the booth. Additionally, you may want to review the booth requests. If you do not know if the requested booth was already rented, then the system will prevent any double assignments. You can assign a booth from Booth Information. Alternatively, once you have requested a booth, you can also assign it from the Booth Requests section of Booth Information. To assign a booth: From Order Summary, select Booth Information from the contextual menu for a Booth Rental or Booth Share product. The Booth Information displays, as shown below. From the Booth Information section, select Assign Booth.- OR - Alternatively, if you have first added a Booth Request, from the Booth Requests section, select the contextual menu in the grid next to the corresponding booth you wish to assign, then select Assign. The Assign Booth page displays, as shown below. Search for and select the Booth Number. The Booth Type, Free Badges, Length, Width, Adjustment, and Total Size populate automatically based on the setup of the selected booth. Select Save to save and assign your booth. If the booth you selected has already been assigned to another exhibitor, an error message will display and the booth will not be assigned.
