Verifying a Notification Email Address Paige Freeman September 12, 2024 13:30 Updated Email addresses that are set within the From field for a notification event must be verified as active email addresses before they can be used. Email addresses can be verified from the Global Settings page or from the Email Details tab when creating or editing a notification event. The email address used in the From field must be a company email address for the notification event to function. Free personal email accounts such as Gmail and Yahoo are not acceptable. To verify an email address: From the Global Settings or Email Details tab, enter the From email address. The Verify button becomes enabled and a label of Unverified displays. Select the Verify button to send the verification email to the From email address. The Email Verification pop-up displays. Select OK to proceed with verification. The Verify button becomes the Resend button and a label of Verification Pending displays. Check your email address for the verification email from Amazon Web Services. If you do not receive the email, you can select the Resend button to resend the verification email. Within the verification email, select the verification URL. The email is verified and the Amazon Web Services verification success page displays within your web browser. The email address now shows as Verified within Notification Designer.
