Viewing and Editing Childcare Program Product Setup Paige Freeman May 19, 2023 13:04 Updated To view and edit childcare program product setup: From the Childcare Program Summary screen, select Product Setup from the Product Info tab.The Product Setup screen displays, as shown below. To edit the information in the fields on the Product Setup screen, click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen.The fields become available to edit, as shown below. For information on the fields that display within this screen, please see the table below. Screen Element Description Product Name Displays the product name for the product. Invoice Description Defaults to the Product Name. If your Product Name is extraordinary long, you can edit the Invoice Description to 50 characters. If the Invoice Description is longer than 50 characters, it will be cropped off the invoice. Product Sub-Title Product Manager Email The product manager's email address. Master Product When unchecked, it implies that the product cannot be entered directly without already having another product with the same parent product but different product code. Members Only When checked on the Product Setup screen, indicates this product is only available for members. Remove MBR Flag Date Allow Price Update When checked, indicates the Unit Price can be edited on the Order Entry screen and the Line Item Details screen. Zero Price When checked, indicates this product is available for $0. One Price Only Branch Indicates the branch offering the childcare program Subsystem The area, or module, associated with the product. Product Code For master products, the Parent Product is the same as the Product Code. Parent Product For master products, the Parent Product is the same as the Product Code. This code must be unique and can be alphanumeric. Subproduct Product Type The primary type of product. For example, program or break-out session. The type selected affects the choices for Product Class. Product Class Used to classify any program product (master or subproduct) to distinguish between break-out sessions and social events from general sessions. The options available are determined by the Product Type selected during creation. Product Subclass Childcare Program Defaults to YES Product Status Displays the status of the product. Options include Active, Cancelled, and Discontinued. Status Date System-generated status change date. Currency Select a type of currency to associate with the product. Values can include United States Dollar (USD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR), or Japanese Yen (JPY). Available to Order When checked on the Product Setup screen, sets this as an active program product for purchase by customers. An example of why it would not be selected is if you are blocking rooms for a board program. Available From The date from which the program product will be available from. Available Through This field is usually left blank unless there is a specific date on which registrations will close. If a date is entered, the program product will not be available for orders after this date.
