Viewing and Updating a Constituent's Special Interests Paige Freeman May 16, 2023 15:45 Updated The Special Interests screen maintains information about a customer’s specialty or special interest categories. You must belong to a security group with at least VIEW permission to the CRM360.Specialty application in order to view this screen. For more information, please see Constituents Security. To view a constituent's special interests, select Special Interests from the Preferences tab. The Special Interests screen will display, as shown below. From this screen, you can add a new special interest, click the pencil icon to edit an existing special interest, and/or click the additional options menu and select Delete to remove an existing special interest. Adding a New Special Interest To add a new special interest: From the Special Interest screen, click the New Special Interest link in the upper right corner of the screen.The Add New Special Interest screen displays, as shown below. Select the Specialty from the drop-down. For example, Management, Medicine, Public Speaking, or Technology.Values are populated based on the non-fixed CUS "CUS_SPECIALTY" system type. Select the Expertise from the drop-down. For example, Expert or Novice.Values are populated based on the non-fixed CUS "SPECIALTY_STATUS" system type. By default, the Recorded date is set to today. Change this if necessary. Enter any Comments, if necessary. Click Save.
