IDP Account Options Paige Freeman June 06, 2024 15:20 Updated The Account Options section of the Manage Configuration page allows you to edit various settings related to user login and registration/account creation. For more information on the configuration options in this section, please see the table below. Field Description Signin Two Factor Required When this toggle is on, the user will be required to use Two Factor Authentication during login. The user will not be able to uncheck the Two Factor Authentication checkbox during registration or from the self-service account portal on the eBusiness site. The user will also not be able to Disable 2FA from the self-service account portal on the eBusiness site. Default Two Factor Checked When this toggle is on, the Two Factor Authentication checkbox will default to checked during registration. The user will be able to uncheck the checkbox as long as the Two Factor Required toggle is off. Allow Captcha Verification When this toggle is on, the system will use reCaptcha 3 to verify the user is not a robot upon login. Generally, if you are already using two factor authentication, reCaptcha verification is not needed. If this toggle is off, reCaptcha verification will not be used. Captcha Threshold Percentage The recommended value for the threshold percentage is 80 or 90. If the threshold is met, the system will revert to reCaptcha 2 for the user to verify their identity. Allow Social Authentication When this toggle is on, the user will be able to log in using their social media accounts. Confirm Email Required When this toggle is on, the user will be required to verify their email during registration using: A link sent in the Verify Email Address Link Request email notification-OR- A one time password sent in the Verify Email Address OTP Request email notification if the Allow Login Using OTP toggle is also on Allow Local Login When this toggle is on, the user will be able to log in using a local account not connected to a social media account. If this toggle is off, the user will not be able to login using a local account and will be required to use a social login. Allow Login Using OTP When this toggle is on, the user can select to Request One Time Password during login. Send User Name Recovery Link for Forgot User Name When this toggle is on, the email notification “Recover UserName Request” will be sent to the user instead of the Username Reset email, and the temporary link included in the email body will go to a page containing the existing username of the user associated with that email address. Sync IMS Roles Before Login When this toggle is on, users' IMS roles will sync automatically upon login. Default Redirect Url This is the login page URL for your eBusiness site. Logo Redirect Url This is the URL that will be navigated to when a user clicks the logo on the Login and Registration pages. CORSAllowedOrigins Used to set CORS (cross-origin resource sharing) domain origins that are allowed. Signup Allow User SignUp When this toggle is on, new users will be able to register to create new accounts. If this toggle is off, new users will not be able to register, as the Register option will not display on the login page. Can Create External Customer If this toggle is on, Personify IDP will follow all ThreeSixty business rules and validations related to the customer. If this toggle is off, ThreeSixty is not required to work with Personify IDP. ThreeSixty customers should always have this toggle set to On. Allow Guest Login If this toggle is on, guest users are able to register in case of Cart Checkout from eBusiness. OTP Length The number set in this field determines the number of characters that will be generated for the one time password. OTP Characters The characters set in this field determine the allowable characters that can be generated for the one time password. Email Regex The regular expression string set in this field is used to validate that email addresses have the correct syntax. SignOut Automatic Redirect After SignOut If this toggle is on, the user will be automatically redirected to the eBusiness site upon logout. If this toggle is off, the user will not be redirected from the logout page to the eBusiness site upon logout. Remember Login Allow Remember Login If this toggle is on, the Remember Me option on the login page is available for users to select. The Remember Me option will retain the user’s username and password for the number of days set in the Remember Me Login For Days field. If this toggle is off, the Remember Me option is not available on the login page. Remember Me Login For Days The number set in this field determines the number of days the user will be remembered once they have selected the Remember Me option on the login page.
