Donations collected for a fund or campaign are sometimes dispersed as grants for applicants or worthy causes. If the organization has a process of accepting proposals for grants, a fundraising proposal can be used to track the basic information about the fund request. You can access the Manage Proposals page in several ways: From the left navigation, select Manage Proposals from the Fundraising menu. From the Fundraising Central page, select Manage Proposals. To define proposals: From the Manage Proposals page, select +New Proposal.The Add New Proposal page displays, as shown below. Search for and select the appropriate Donor to associate with the proposal.The donor information automatically populates. Enter the Person Contacted, Phone Number, and Email Address for the individual to be contacted at for any matters related to the proposal.This is typically only entered if the donor submitting the proposal is a company. These fields are text boxes, so the contact does not need to be a stored customer. If necessary, change the Proposal ID.The Proposal ID must be unique within the organization and organization unit. Enter the Description of the proposal. Select the proposal Status from the drop-down.Values in the drop-down are populated based on the non-fixed codes defined for the FND "PROPOSAL_STATUS" system type. Select the Due Date for the proposal.This is the last date the proposal can be submitted by the donor. Select the Submission Date of the proposal.This is the date the proposal was submitted. Select the Decision Date.This is the date the organization made a decision on the donor’s proposal. Enter the Request Amount.This is the amount requested by the proposal. Enter the Expected Amount.This is the amount that the organization expects to grant the donor based on the proposal. Select the Campaign, Appeal, or Fund associated with the funding-request proposal, if necessary. Enter the Proposal Purpose. Enter any additional Comments. Select Save to save your proposal and return to the Manage Proposals page.
