Adding Additional Products to an Order

After you initially create an order, you can optionally add additional products or subproducts to the order from the Order Details section of the Order Entry screen.

The steps below assume that you are not currently viewing the order in which you want to add additional products. If you are currently viewing the order in which you want to add additional products, skip to step 3.

To add additional products to an order:

1. From the Orders Central page, search for the appropriate order. For more information, please see Searching for an Existing Order.
2. From the order summary page, click the pencil icon in the top, right corner.
3. To add an additional product to the order:
   1. If you know the product code of the product you want to add to the order:
      1. From the Quick Add a Product section, enter the Product code.
      2. Change the quantity, if necessary.
      3. Click Add Product.
         The new product(s) is added to the grid in the Order Details section.
   2. If you'd like to use additional search criteria:
      1. From the Quick Add a Product section, click Full Product Search.
         The Add Products to Order page displays, as shown below.
         
         The following fields are available when searching for a product to add to the order:
         1. Subsystem (SUBSYSTEM in PRODUCT)
         2. Product Class (PRODUCT_CLASS in PRODUCT)
         3. Parent Product (PARENT_PRODUCT in PRODUCT)
         4. Product Code (PRODUCT_CODE in PRODUCT)
         5. Product Name (LONG_NAME in PRODUCT)
            Product availability is queried on screen load and will not reflect real-time changes to the inventory or capacity.
      2. From the search results, click the down arrow to view additional product details.
      3. To add a product(s) to your order, change the quantity from the QTY column if necessary, and click Add.
      4. When you're ready to proceed with your order, click Continue to Order Entry.
         The new product(s) is added to the grid in the Order Details section.
4. To add a subproduct(s) to the order:
   1. From the Order Details section, click the additional options menu to the right of the desired line item and select Add Sub Products, as shown below.
      
      The Add Products to Order page displays, as shown below.
      
      The following fields are available when searching for a product to add to the order:
      1. Subsystem (SUBSYSTEM in PRODUCT)
      2. Product Class (PRODUCT_CLASS in PRODUCT)
      3. Parent Product (PARENT_PRODUCT in PRODUCT)
      4. Product Code (PRODUCT_CODE in PRODUCT)
      5. Product Name (LONG_NAME in PRODUCT)

   2. From the search results, click the down arrow to view additional product details.
   3. To add a subproduct(s) to your order, change the quantity from the QTY column if necessary, and click Add.
   4. When you're ready to proceed with your order, click Continue to Order Entry.
      The new subproduct(s) is added to the grid in the Order Details section and the order total is updated automatically.
5. Click Update Pricing to view an updated order total based on the newly added product.
