User Permissions Paige Freeman May 04, 2023 18:57 Updated From the Permissions tab on the User Summary, you can view the user's permissions for the following areas: Web Client Batch Jobs Real-Time Reports Desktop Client Access Points To view the user's permissions: From the User Summary, click the Permissions tab. The Manage Security Groups screen displays as shown below. Select the permission you want to view from the drop-down.Note that for each of the following Permission screens you must select an Organization and Organization Unit from the filter fields at the top as they will not be displayed in the grid. The Organization and Organization Unit drop-downs are required fields. Web Client To view the user's Web Client Permissions: Select Web Client from the drop-down menu in the Permissions tab of the User Summary. Locate the Web Client application(s) you wish to view using the filter fields at the top or the All, Assigned, and Unassigned filters above the list of applications. The Organization and Organization Unit drop-down selections are required. For more information, click the down arrow to the right to display the Source Security Group that granted the permission. The source security group(s) will not display on applications that have the Inherit Module Security set to YES. The user should refer to the module application to see the source security group(s) granting the permission. Batch Jobs To view the user's Batch Job Permissions: Select Batch Jobs from the drop-down menu in the Permissions tab of the User Summary. Locate the Batch Job permission you wish to view using the filter fields at the top or the All, Assigned, and Unassigned filters above the list of Batch Jobs. The Organization and Organization Unit drop-down selections are required. Real-Time Reports To view the user's Real-Time Report Permissions: Select Real-Time Reports from the drop-down menu in the Permissions tab of the User Summary. Find the Real-Time Report permission you wish to view using the filter fields at the top or the All, Assigned, and Unassigned filters above the list of Real-Time Reports. The Organization and Organization Unit drop-down selections are required. Desktop Client To view the user's Desktop Client Permissions: Select Desktop Client from the drop-down menu in the Permissions tab of the User Summary.
