Profile The Profile section of the self-service portal allows the user to edit or update their Username, Email, and Phone Number, as well as turn Two Factor Authentication on or off. If your organization requires the use of Two Factor Authentication, the user will not be able to turn off Two Factor Authentication from their profile. Changing the Username on this page will trigger the Changed Username Notification to be sent to the user’s email address. Changing the Email address on this page will trigger the Changed Email Notification to be sent to the user’s email address. Password The Password section of the self-service portal allows the user to edit or update their account password. The account password must meet the requirements configured by administrators. If the user authenticated via a OTP or cannot remember their current password, they can click Send Password Reset Link to reset their password that way. For more information on configuring password requirements, please see Password Options in the Manage Configurations section. External logins The External logins section of the self-service portal allows the user to connect their social media logins to their account. This process is very similar to the Social Login workflow. To add an External login: From the External logins section of the self-service portal, select the social media login you wish to connect to your account. In this example, I will select Google.Administrators can configure which social logins are available for end users using the Social Login Buttons section of the IDP Styling page.Administrators must also configure the Social Logins section on the Manage Configurations page. Once you have selected the social media login button, you will be redirected to the corresponding social media site to select or create your account. Select the account you wish to use from the list provided. Because you are already logged in to your account, you do not need to perform any additional verification steps. The login is added to your account, as shown below:You can also select to remove any previously-registered logins by selecting the Remove button next to the corresponding account. The Remove button is only available if the user associated a social login account after the initial registration process. If the user associated the social login with their account during registration, the Remove option will not be available. Two-factor authentication The Two-factor authentication section of the self-service portal allows the user to manage their two factor authentication and any connected authenticator app. From this page, you can: Disable or turn off two-factor authentication using the Disable 2FA button. If your organization requires the use of Two Factor Authentication, the user will not be able to turn off Two Factor Authentication from their profile. Connect your account to a third-party authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator using the Configure authenticator app button. Reset and reconnect your authenticator app using the Reset authenticator key button. If you reset your authenticator key your authenticator app will not work until you reconfigure it.Resetting your authenticator key will disable Two Factory Authentication until you verify your authenticator app and will also reset your recovery codes.
