ThreeSixty Web Client allows you to create new Umbrella products. To create a new Umbrella product: From Product Central, select Umbrella from the Create a New Product card.Alternatively, you can select Create an Umbrella Product from the left navigation menu.The Product Setup screen appears, as shown below. Select the Subsystem for the Umbrella product. Options include Inventoried Products Subsystem, Digital/Electronic Content Delivery, and Subscription Subsystem.ThreeSixty supports the ability to create INV, SUB, and DCD umbrella products (Product Type = "U"). However, only umbrella products with a subsystem of "INV" are supported on the web. Currently, umbrella products with a subsystem of "SUB" or "DCD" are not supported on the web. Therefore, if you want to create a SUB or DCD umbrella product, you must first create a general umbrella product with a subsystem of "INV", then you can create individual SUB or DCD products and assign the individual products as options under the umbrella. Please note that although umbrella products with a subsystem of "SUB" or "DCD" do not display on the web, they can be purchased via the back office. Enter the Product Code and Parent Product. For a master product, the Product Code and Parent Product values should be the same. The Product Type defaults to Umbrella and can't be modified. Select the Product Class from the drop-down. Values in the drop-down are populated based on the non-fixed codes defined for the INV "PRODUCT_CLASS" system type. Enter the Product Name. This should be a descriptive name as it is the name that will display to your customers. The Invoice Description defaults to the same value. If necessary, enter the Product Manager Email. Select "Yes" or "No" for the Master Product option. When set to No, it implies that the product cannot be entered directly without already having another product with the same parent product but different product code. The toggle defaults to Yes. Select the Product Status from the drop-down. The status of the product. Values include Active, Cancelled, and Discontinued. Select "Yes" or "No" for the Available to Order option. When set to Yes, sets this as an active product for purchase by customers. Select the Available From date. Defaults to the system date, but it can be overridden. The date from which the product will be available from. The Available From date cannot be changed if orders have already been created for it. Select the Available To date. This field is usually left blank unless there is a specific date on which the product will no longer be available. If a date is entered, the product will not be available for orders after this date. Click Continue. The Product Options step displays, as shown below: Select Associate New Product to add a product or multiple products to the umbrella product.The Associate Products page displays. Search for select the individual product(s) you would like to add under the umbrella product.Umbrella products can only be associated with individual INV, DCD, or SUB products. After locating the product(s) you wish to add, select the Add button in the results grid.Once you have completed selecting your products, select the Associate Products button. The selected product(s) are added to the Associated Products grid. To select Option 1 and Option 2 for all products, perform the following: Values for the Option 1 and Option 2 fields are determined by the ORD Product_Options system type and codes. From the Product Options section, select the appropriate value from the Option 1 and Option 2 drop-downs. Select Set Options.The Option 1 and Option 2 columns are populated in the grid below with your selections. To select an option and choice for each individual product, perform the following: Values for the Option 1, Option 2, and Choice fields are determined by the ORD Product_Options system type and codes. From the Associated Products section, select the appropriate options within the product grid. From the Option 1 column, select the drop-down arrow to display the drop-down menu of values. Select the appropriate option. From the Choice column, select the drop-down arrow to display the drop-down menu of values. Select the appropriate choice. If necessary, from the Option 2 column, select the drop-down arrow to display the drop-down menu of values. Select the appropriate option. If necessary, from the second Choice column, select the drop-down arrow to display the drop-down menu of values. Select the appropriate choice.Be cautious when setting up options and confirm that your product type and options match. Personify will not know if you select the incorrect match. For instance, if your product is a red bag and you choose green as the color choice, the color of the bag will not match the product. Personify cannot recognize these types of discrepancies and will instead proceed with the incorrect choice. Click Done.The new product will open within the Product Summary.
