In order to prevent minors from being designated as financially responsible customers on orders, the Default Bill-To field can be used. In base ThreeSixty, the Bill-To customer defaults to the customer record open at the time the transaction is being created, which is a concern when creating orders for children. The Default Bill-To feature allows the ability to designate a financially responsible party (Bill-to customer) on all customer records. This designated customer will default as the Bill-To customer on all orders for the financially dependent individual. To view the Default Bill-To for a customer, navigate to the Customer Summary for the customer record. The Default Bill-To will display within the customer header, as shown below. Adding or Editing the Default Bill-To To add or edit the default bill-to customer: From the customer header within the Customer Summary, click the pencil icon next to the Default Bill-To. The Default Bill-To Customer search screen displays, as shown below. Enter at least three characters of the customers name into the search field and click the magnifying glass icon. Alternatively, click Advanced to see additional search options. Search for and select the correct customer from the results grid and then click the Select button. The selected customer is set as the Default Bill-To for the customer, and appears on the customer header, as shown below. Removing the Default Bill-To To remove the default bill-to customer: From the customer header within the Customer Summary, click the pencil icon next to the Default Bill-To and select Remove Bill-To.
