Defining Gift Related Files

You can associate an active fundraising gift with documents, images, or abstracts. 

To define related files:

  1. From the Relationships tab, select Related Files.
    The Related Files screen displays.
  2. Click the New Related File link.
    The Add New Related File screen displays, as shown below.
  3. From the Attach a File field, click Select files...
    A finder window displays.
  4. Search for and select the file to relate to the product.
    The size of the file will be restricted by the WEB_MAXFILEUPLOADSIZE application parameter. If the size of the file exceeds the limit set by this parameter, a validation message will display.
    The allowed file extensions are determined by the following application parameters:
    1. ALLOWED_EXTENSIONS_LIST_ALL
    2. ALLOWED_EXTENSIONS_LIST_IMAGE
    3. ALLOWED_EXTENSIONS_LIST_DOC
  5. Select the File Type from the drop-down.
    Values in the drop-down are populated based on the non-fixed codes defined for the ORD "FILE_TYPE_CODE" system type.
  6. The File Specification and Display Name default based on the selected file. Edit these if necessary.
  7. Enter a Description about the file.
  8. By default, the Active toggle is set to "Yes". Change this, if necessary.
  9. Set the Web Enabled toggle to "Yes" if you want the related file to display in the Additional Information section on the product detail page on the web.
  10. Click Save.
