Viewing and Editing Product Related Constituents Paige Freeman May 17, 2023 18:34 Updated Many products are related to authors, publishers, vendors, product managers, etc. This information is searchable both by Web users as well as operators of the customer service system. For instance, you might use this feature to see all products authored by a specific person. This screen maintains a list of customers associated with this product, along with optional links to their abstract, if available. To view and edit related constituents: To view the Related Constituents screen for a product, select Related Constituents from the Relationships tab within the product summary.The Related Constituents screen appears, as shown below: For more information regarding the fields available on this screen, please see the table below. Screen Element Description Relationship Type The type of relationship of the constituent to the product. Name The name of the related constituent. The name appears as a blue hyperlink. Clicking the name in the grid allows you to view more information about the relationship, as well as to edit the related constituent information. Status The status of the relationship. To edit relationship information for a related constituent, select the pencil icon next to the record in the grid. The Edit Related Constituent screen displays. Relationship Type The type of relationship of the constituent to the product. Values in the drop-down are populated based on the codes defined for the non-fixed "CUSRELATION" system type. Relationship Category Values in the drop-down are populated based on the codes defined for the non-fixed "CUSRELATION_CATEGORY" system type. Status The status of the relationship. Values in the drop-down are populated based on the codes defined for the non-fixed "RELATION_STATUS" system type. Web Enabled Set the option to "Yes" if you want the related customer to display in the Additional Information section on the product detail page on the web. Speech Information Grade After a speaker has given a speech, you can define a grade, if necessary. Values in the drop-down are populated based on the codes defined for the non-fixed "GRADE" system type. Duration Numeric field to set the duration of the speech, if necessary. Time Offset This field identifies when the speech will start based on the start time. Evaluation Free-form text field to define an evaluation of the speech, if necessary.
