Privacy Consent and Requests Paige Freeman May 16, 2023 16:54 Updated The Privacy Consent and Requests page allows you to view and manage requests for right to forget and data inquiry, as well as view and manage consent capture for the constituent. To access this page, select Privacy Consent and Requests from the Preferences tab on the constituent record. Request Maintenance Access to the Request Maintenance page and the Request Maintenance section on the Privacy Consent and Requests page is controlled by the CRM360.RequestMaintenance security application. The Request Maintenance section of the Privacy Consent and Requests page lists all requests associated with the constituent. Use the edit pencil to make any changes to any listed requests, or select +New Activity to add a new request. For more information, please see Capturing and Tracking Requests. Consent Capture Access to the Consent Capture section on the Privacy Consent and Requests page is controlled by the CRM360.ConsentCapture security application. The Consent Capture section of the Privacy Consent and Requests page allows staff to capture and allow withdrawal of consent for data subjects, varying by data category. Staff users can use this section to capture consent on behalf of data subjects that do not directly interact with Personify software. The tools provided to capture consent align with the following GDPR articles: Article 7: Conditions for Consent; Article 21: Right to Object; and Article 18: Right to Restriction of Processing. To capture or withdraw consent: From the Consent Capture section of the Privacy Consent and Requests page, select +New Consent.The Add Consent page displays, as shown below. Select the Category from the drop-down.Values are controlled by the Data Category system type. The Help Text is populated based on the selected Category. If the user is granting consent, toggle the Opt-In field to Yes.If the user is withdrawing consent, toggle the Opt-In field to No.. Select the Opt In Date.If you set the Opt-In field to Yes, this will automatically populate with the system date. You must choose an opt in date, even if the customer is withdrawing consent. If the user is granting consent, leave the Opt-Out Date blank. If they are withdrawing consent, choose the Opt-Out Date. The Staff field is automatically set to the logged in user. Click Save to save the consent record. Consent data is stored in the new APP_GDPR_MASTER_CONSENT_OPT_IN_OPT_OUT table, and audit information is stored in the new APP_GDPR_CONSENT_OPT_IN_OPT_OUT_HISTORY table.
