Viewing and Updating a Constituent's Attached Files Paige Freeman May 16, 2023 17:09 Updated The Attached Files page enables you to add and maintain constituent-related documents. To access a constituent's attached files: From the Profile Info tab on the Constituent Summary, select Attached Files.The Attached Files screen displays, as shown below. Use the filters at the top of the screen to filter the list of attached files in the grid. To view additional details for an attached file, click the hyperlinked file Description in the grid to open the detail view. To edit the file details, click the pencil icon in the grid or on the detail screen. To view the attached file, select View File from the contextual menu in the grid, as shown below. To add a new related file: On the Attached Files screen, click +New Document.The Add New Document screen displays, as shown below. From the Document field, click Select files...Locate the appropriate document and click Open. An uploading icon will display while the document is uploaded.When the file is uploaded, the icon will change to Done.The highlighted document is copied to the local TEMP folder and opened using the Windows standard file relationships. The document name automatically populates with the document information. Select the Document Type from the drop-down.Values are populated based on the non-fixed CUS "CUSTOMER_DOCS" system type. If necessary, select the Document Subtype from the drop-down.Values are populated based on the subcodes defined for the non-fixed CUS "CUSTOMER_DOCS" system type. By default the Document Date is set to today. Change this if necessary. Enter any comments or additional information about the file in the Comments field. Click Save.The file is attached to the constituent record and appears in the Attached Files grid.
